Creator+ Element and Practice Options for More Interactive Courses

creator plus practices and elements header

Our new Brightspace Creator+ addition provides engaging content formats and layouts to easily add to a course. These can break up text, allow students to interact with content in different ways, and provide in context learning checks. There are many great options so far with more coming in the future and we encourage you to try them out in your own course.

How to insert Elements or Practice items

All Creator+ features are accessed from the Content section of Brightspace. Currently they can only be added to Content by instructors and cannot be created by student.

  1.  From Upload/Create menu, choose Create a File
  2. Open the Other Insert Options menu (+ icon)
  3. Choose Insert Practice or Insert Element
  4. Choose the Creator+ practice or element to edit
  5. Edit
  6. Click the Insert button to add it to your content
