Automatically Fix PDF Accessibility – Panorama’s Structural Remediation

decorative

PDFs can cause some of the biggest headaches in creating accessible content. It’s a scan of a hard copy page or you don’t have the original file to adjust. Now with our Panorama accessibility tool, you can fix all of these issues. No need to have an Adobe license, all employees have access to this feature through the Panorama dashboard.

What is structural remediation?

Although Panorama can fix many PDF issues, this article focuses on structural remediation. This doesn’t deal with alt text or font size but the basic structure of a PDF document. These are more in depth fixes and can be tricky.

How do I know if my document has structural issues?

Structural remediation is currently available to all employees. If your PDF has structural issues, you will see it in the accessibility report in its own section that says structural remediation.

We do have a set number of credits for this service. A credit is used very time a fix is applied. If the PDF needs multiple fixes, please fix all issues BEFORE clicking the Apply Changes button. This maximizes our use of credits.
