Meet the Team

Instructional Design & Academic Technology Services

Cheryl Todd, MBA

Director of Instructional Design and Academic Technology (IDAT) at Meredith College, Raleigh, NC USA

MBA in Business Administration, Management, & Operations from Nova Southeastern University

BS in Human Services from Nova Southeastern University

Cheryl has worked in Technology Services for almost 14 years and has led the IDAT team for the past 5 years. Prior to joining Meredith, Cheryl worked for the Wake County School System at 2 Western Wake elementary schools in the role of  Technology Facilitator.

During her tenure here at Meredith, the Blackboard LMS expanded its visibility by evolving into the college’s intranet- MyMeredith, Digital Accessibility awareness has grown, a new LMS was selected, and MyMeredith now stands on its own as our college’s Intranet/Portal.  Although Cheryl participated in these initiatives, as a project manager, a member of the implementation team, and as an advocate, the success of each of these initiatives was the result of dedicated teamwork on the part of the IDAT team, other Technology Services staff members and collaboration with faculty and staff across the campus community.

Cheryl resides in Apex, NC with her husband Greg and 1 ½ dogs. (Min-pin Chihuahua mix only counts as a ½.) Daughter Hillary and son-in-law Forrest also live nearby in Apex, NC.
